Wear to Work (Out!)

April Fools! I don't really work out. I've been wanting to do an athletic-inspired post for a while, because I am constantly finding myself wearing my gym clothes all the time. Thing is I rarely go to the gym - I'm always loving going on long walks with my mom, jetting off to yoga class, and doing some quick-high intensity workout. Some days though athletic wear makes me feel so much more put together on days when I'm running around campus and don't feel like putting real clothes on. 






On days when I am super busy I love doing the "seven minute workout" - that app and the CARROT app are both fantastic (although I have to admit, I'm either offended or laughing at everything CARROT says). Blogilates on YouTube is also super fun and has great, healthy recipes! If you don't already have a fitness tracker I highly recommend getting one, it makes you so much more aware of your day to day activities. I've had both a Fitbit and a Jawbone so if you have any questions please let me know.

Another important thing to remember when working out is drinking more water. You can check out some of the benefits and my tips in this blog post from last June - and try the app Waterlogged if you have a hard time keeping yourself accountable for your daily intake goals.

I also realized my love for a fishtail braid recently - and it's super easy with this tutorial.

  1. I wish I could wear workout attire every day. It's way more comfortable than professional clothes. Oh how I miss being in college. Enjoy it while ya can :)
